What Can I Eat? (Part 1)

Type 2 Diabetes – The Link Between Snoring and Gestational Diabetes

Frequent snoring is known to be linked with Type 2 diabetes. According to scientists at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and various other research institutions in the United States, habitual snoring is linked with Gestational diabetes. Their findings were reported in September of 2017 in the online journal PLOS ONE. The study included 1579 pregnant women. Women who snored most or all the time had more than twice the risk of difficulty processing sugar and 2.5 times the risk of developing Gestational diabetes as the women who did not snore.

Type 2 Diabetes – Physical Activity Improves the Variation in Your Heart Rate

Although heart rates are regular in healthy people, some changes along the way are necessary as well. The nervous system reacts to the need for more or less blood flow throughout the body by altering the speed of the heartbeats. In Type 2 diabetes the heart rate can stay the same more than is preferred because the condition damages the nervous system. Physicians recommend physical activity for people who have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes for many reasons, including improved nerve function and the regeneration of nerves in the skin.

Type 2 Diabetes – A Diagnosis of Gestational Diabetes Raises the Risk of Cataracts Forming

Gestational diabetes, the kind diagnosed only during pregnancy, is known to increase the risk of developing full-blown Type 2 diabetes later in life. According to researchers at the University of Montreal, another condition, cataracts, is also something to watch for in mothers who have had Gestational diabetes.

Type 2 Diabetes and Healthy Eating – Eating Fast Could Be Bad for Your Health

Overeating may not be all you’re doing. It is only fair to consider if you are at fault, it is not necessarily because of something you are aware of. After all, that would not be ideal. If you are in bad health because of something you are currently doing (or not) and you are aware of it, it is worse than when you are unaware. Arguably, in this case, you might not be at fault at all. It might just be because you lack instruction or knowledge.Your environment could be partly to blame since we model our behavior primarily on that of other people – in this case in regards to eating.
